Addison

Addison Texas is very important to those that prefer to have an occasional drink other than beer and wine, and you will probably have to drive to one of the many liquor stores in Addison.

Texas has “Dry” areas where there is no alcohol sold in the stores, “Semi Dry” where you can buy beer and wine only, and then there is Addison where the liquor stores are plentiful for hard liquor, beer and wine.

For those that prefer an occasional Scotch, Bourbon, Martini, or such you have a choice to have it at one of the many restaurants or to have it at home by procuring it at one of the many Addison liquor stores.

You could also say Addison is famous or at least well known for its many restaurants that are generally found along Beltline Road. It is one of the smallest, if not the smallest city, but of significant importance for its attributes.

It also has the Addison Airport, a Corporate Jet airport that is extremely popular with the Dallas Corporations that fly in and out of Addison, the Cavanaugh Flight Museum depicting the history of flight, and streets that celebrate the pioneers of flight such as Wiley Post, Wright Brothers, Amelia Earhart, Claire Chennault, Frank Luke, Glenn Curtis, Jimmy Doolittle, Eddie Rickenbacker, Roscoe Turner, Richard Byrd, Billy Mitchell, and Lindbergh, and perhaps a name I will have to apologize for missing.
